Responsibilities:
- Support formulation development for new chemical entities as part of a matrix team from first-in-human formulations (suspensions, solutions, capsules, tablets) through final market formulation definition and manufacturing process robustness assessment.
- Execute laboratory or pilot-plant work using basic scientific principles to advance new solid oral drug products.
- Support manufacturing operations in non-GMP and GMP environments.
- Perform routine experiments and data interpretation with technical guidance; operate and troubleshoot equipment and processes.
- Learn practical lab/pilot-plant skills and fundamental scientific principles; manage deliverables by understanding project timelines.
- Collaborate with others and build awareness of relevant new technologies.

Education:
- B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline (expected no later than June 2027).

Required skills/experience:
- Learn and apply new scientific principles; collate and conduct basic data analysis.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred skills/experience:
- Prior lab environment experience; statistical software (JMP, Minitab) and numerical analysis (Matlab).
- Strong mechanical aptitude; passion to learn and develop as a pharmaceutical scientist.
