Associate Scientist, Non Viral Delivery Technologies (Regeneron Genetics Medicines) 2

Role Summary

Associate Scientist to join the Non-Viral Delivery Technologies group within Regeneron Genetics Medicines. Work on lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) production and ligand-targeted LNP development to support programs across the Genetics Medicines group.

Responsibilities

• Packaging nucleic acids into lipid nanoparticles to support research projects
• Performing, analyzing, and troubleshooting LNP characterization assays (nucleic acid encapsulation efficiency, diameter, surface properties, apparent pKa)
• Receiving formulation requests and creating production schedules from a central database
• Maintaining an accurate laboratory notebook capturing protocols, results, and observations
• Participating and presenting in team meetings
• Performing cell-culture experiments to evaluate LNP potency

Qualifications

• Required: BS/MS in chemistry, molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or related field with 0–2+ years of relevant experience
• Preferred: Direct experience with nanoparticle formulation, Ribogreen assay, and Dynamic Light Scattering assay
• Industry experience in a core production role is an advantage
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaborate with external teams; passion for non-viral delivery
