What You Will Achieve
- Apply GMP microbiological methods (bioburden, endotoxin, PCR, etc.) to assess product quality and detect impurities.
- Perform microbiology identification, testing, and method qualifications to support multiple sites.
- Conduct Environmental Monitoring (EM) of manufacturing facilities, waters, and compressed gases.
- Support GMP in-process and R&D testing of clinical supplies using established microbiological methodologies.
- Perform aseptic lab technique and facility gowning; analyze data independently and make conclusions.
How You Will Achieve It
- Review and contribute to validation protocols/reports, analytical test procedures, investigation reports, monitoring trend reports, and change controls.
- Interact with multiple departments and present data.
- Complete required GxP and safety training and follow SOPs to ensure data integrity.
- Plan/prioritize testing activities and present problems with proposed solutions.
Education & Experience
Must-Have
- BS in microbiology, biochemistry, biology, or related + 0–2 years experience.
- Excellent documentation (high attention to detail); strong organization and interpersonal/written communication.
- Self-motivated in a team environment; follow established procedures with minimal supervision.
Nice-to-Have
- 1+ years in GMP quality systems; LIMS experience; pharma analytical instrument experience.
- Knowledge of drug development, regulatory requirements, managing multiple tasks/projects.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot) with responsible AI practices.
Comp/Benefits (if part of posting)
- Base salary: $60,200–$100,400; bonus target 7.5%.

Work requirements
- Occasional light lifting; periods of standing/sitting/walking; repetitive micropipette work.
- Typically Mon–Fri, first shift; occasional weekend/off-shift as needed; must qualify on cleanroom gowning.
