Associate Scientist II, Protein Sciences

Role: Associate Scientist-II in protein sciences, focusing on protein production, conjugation, and characterization to support research in RNAi therapeutics. Responsibilities: deliver and validate proteins/conjugates across production scales; design and execute protein conjugation experiments for in vitro/in vivo studies; perform purification, QC, and analytical characterization using techniques like UV–Vis spectroscopy and HPLC; support lab infrastructure and inventory management; communicate data to cross-functional teams; contribute to discovery efforts. Requirements: BS/MS in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field; 0–1 years' experience in biopharma or academia; hands-on experience with bioconjugation chemistry, HPLC (Agilent, ÄKTA), UV–Vis, and protein analysis techniques; detail-oriented, self-motivated, strong communication skills. Preferred: experience developing chromatographic methods. High-Value: protein conjugates, analytical biochemistry, bioconjugation, HPLC, RNAi therapeutics, Cambridge MA onsite. Collaboration with biological, chemical, and pharmacological teams, supporting early-stage discovery in a fast-paced environment.
