Associate Scientist II, Neuroscience

Role: Associate Scientist II supporting early-stage research and drug discovery efforts, particularly in immunology and inflammation related to nervous system diseases. Responsibilities: design and execute experiments involving flow cytometry, ELISA, Western blot, RT-qPCR, and cell culture; support target deconvolution and hit-to-lead optimization; maintain accurate lab notebooks; interpret data and communicate findings; contribute to assay development and patent filings; ensure regulatory compliance and lab safety; assist with general lab operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Biology (e.g., Neuroscience, Immunology) with 6+ years or Master's with 2+ years of relevant experience; proficiency in cell biology, molecular biology, and immunophenotyping of primary human cells; hands-on experience with mammalian tissue culture, flow cytometry, and high-throughput assays; strong analytical and communication skills; familiarity with data analysis tools and assay troubleshooting. Preferred: knowledge of immune systems relevant to inflammatory CNS diseases, reproducible assay development, and basic statistical analysis.
