Role: Associate Scientist II in vitro Preclinical Development within AbbVie's mRNA-tLNP group, focusing on advancing pipeline programs from early discovery to IND-enabling studies. Responsibilities: develop and perform cell-based assays assessing mRNA-tLNP-mediated T-cell reprogramming, including cytotoxicity, effector functions, and immune phenotyping; isolate PBMCs and T cells; culture mammalian cells; generate stable tumor cell lines; maintain good laboratory practices; collaborate cross-functionally, organize, and communicate data. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s in immunology, cell/molecular biology, or related field; 3+ years’ experience (Bachelor’s) or equivalent; experience with mammalian cell culture, aseptic techniques, gene transfer, and T cell functional assays; proficiency with flow cytometry, ELISA, Luminex/MSD, and data analysis software like CellEngine and Tableau. Preferred: experience with CAR production and evaluation. High-Value: focus on oncology and autoimmune disease applications, early-stage research, cell-based immunology assays, and viral/non-viral gene transfer techniques.
