Associate Scientist II, Immunoassay Development

Role: Associate Scientist II, Immunoassay Development within Vaxcyte's CMC team, providing hands-on support for immunoassay development, qualification, and lifecycle management of critical reagents for vaccine pipeline analysis. Responsibilities include executing assays such as ELISA, MSD, bead-based, and multiplex formats to support potency, antigenicity, identity, and stability testing; preparing reagents, samples, and assay materials; documenting data, and supporting troubleshooting and reagent qualification activities. Requirements: BS in Biochemistry, Immunology, Analytical Chemistry, or Biological Sciences with at least 1-2 years of relevant bioanalytical lab experience; proficiency with immunoassay platforms and assay execution; strong attention to detail, documentation, and lab safety. Preferred: experience with ligand-binding assays, assay validation, or assay transfer; knowledge of regulated biopharma environments. High-Value: vaccine development focus, immunoassay platform expertise, on-site in San Carlos, CA, with a minimum of 4 days/week in the lab. Collaboration reports to Director, Immunoassay Development.
