Role: Associate Scientist II, Immunoassay Development at Vaxcyte, focused on supporting vaccine CMC programs through immunoassay development, qualification, and lifecycle management of critical reagents. Responsibilities: perform hands-on immunoassay execution (ELISA, MSD, multiplex, electrochemiluminescence), support method development, troubleshoot, and generate assay data; maintain documentation and laboratory organization; support reagent activities like aliquoting and stability studies; ensure laboratory readiness and safety. Requirements: BS in Biochemistry, Immunology, Analytical Chemistry, or related with 1-2 years in biopharma; practical experience with ligand-binding assays and platforms like ELISA, MSD, bead-based, or multiplex assays; strong laboratory skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Preferred: experience in bioanalytical testing in vaccine or biologics contexts. High-Value: immunoassay development for biologic vaccines, supporting potency, identity, impurity, and stability testing. Collaboration: reports to Director, Immunoassay Development in San Carlos, CA. Work setup: onsite at least 4 days/week, with a competitive salary range of $105K-$123K plus benefits.
