Associate, Scientist II Analyst Chemist

Responsibilities:
- Independently plan and perform routine tasks to generate precise, reliable, reproducible data in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate experimental precision, strong data interpretation, and understanding of the core discipline.
- Document experimental activities and results in a GMP-compliant fashion using electronic data acquisition/management systems.
- Analyze and critique results; note significant deviations.
- Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation.
- Learn and apply new experimental techniques as needed for unique project requirements.
- Use multiple techniques; modify protocols as research/development needs change.
- Place data in scientific context by consulting and citing relevant literature.
- Maintain technical proficiency, preferably in quantitative and instrumental analytical areas.
- Conduct lab/pilot plant-based activities to impact projects.
- Follow corporate standards for code of conduct, safety, proper materials handling, controlled drug/radioactive compounds, and GxP compliance (where applicable).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry (typically 3+ years’ experience) or Master’s degree/equivalent (no additional experience).
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in chromatography and/or spectroscopy (highly preferred).
- Strong collaboration skills with peers and cross-functional partners.
- Learns fast; adapts quickly to changing needs.
- Creates/embraces a learning environment; supports innovation and continuous improvement.
