Clinical Research and Development
Key Responsibilities:
- Synthesize, purify, and characterize antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) and antibody oligonucleotide conjugates (AOCs) on mg to gram scale under minimal supervision.
- Develop, optimize, and validate conjugation protocols for AOCs.
- Optimize and validate formulation buffers for bioconjugates.
- Apply and refine automated techniques for ADC/AOC synthesis and purification.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to advance ADC/AOC discovery programs from conceptualization to early development.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (or equivalent) with typically 3+ yearsโ€™ experience, or Masterโ€™s degree (no additional experience).
- Experience in Organic, Bioorganic, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
- Hands-on protein purification using HIC, SEC, IEX, mixed-mode chromatography, and/or affinity chromatography; experience with GE AKTA FPLC and Unicorn software preferred.
- Strong ADC/AOC discovery, design, synthesis, and purification experience; familiarity with associated chemistries and analytical methods.
- Hands-on analytical techniques: HIC-HPLC, SEC, IEX, RP-HPLC, LCMS, and capillary electrophoresis (e.g., CE-SDS, icIEF).
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary team; excellent written/oral communication.

Preferred:
- Linker chemistry and payload conjugation strategies for oligonucleotide therapeutics.
- Experience troubleshooting/optimizing stability and delivery of antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates.
