Responsibilities:
- Plan and perform routine tasks competently and independently within a timely fashion, generating reliable and consistent results.
- Document experimental activities and results in a GMP-compliant manner using electronic data acquisition and management systems.
- Analyze and critique results, noting significant deviations from expected results.
- Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation.
- Learn and understand new experimental techniques and apply them to unique project/assignment requirements.
- Demonstrate skill in multiple techniques; modify protocols as needed to meet changing research/development requirements.
- Place data in proper scientific context by consulting and citing relevant literature.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency, preferentially in quantitative and instrumental analytical areas.
- Impact projects predominantly through lab and/or pilot plant-based activities.
- Adhere to corporate standards for code of conduct, safety, appropriate handling of materials, controlled drug and radioactive compounds, and GxP compliance (where applicable).
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs Degree in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry (or equivalent) with typically 3+ yearsโ experience, or Masterโs Degree (or equivalent) with no additional experience.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in chromatography and/or spectroscopy (highly preferred).
