Associate Scientist I, In Vivo Research

Role: Associate Scientist in In Vivo Pharmacology within Arrowhead’s Biology Department, focusing on drug discovery for genetic diseases using RNAi therapeutics. Responsibilities: conduct in vivo studies across various disease models, develop new preclinical animal models, perform animal behavior assessments, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, analyze data, and present findings. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Biology or related field with experience in small animal handling; OR Associate’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience; 2+ years handling small animals; strong data analysis, record-keeping, and communication skills; ability to multitask and work independently. Preferred: experience with preclinical disease model development, animal dosing, and surgical procedures.
