Clinical Research and Development
Responsibilities:
- Run, analyze, and report in vitro cardiovascular, neurobehavioral, and gastrointestinal assays focused on evaluating and implementing New Approach Methodologies (NAMS)
- Operate and troubleshoot MEA (Microelectrode Array) platforms; interpret multi-electrode recordings
- Assist senior scientists on collaborative, team-based projects
- Learn and implement new experimental protocols
- Apply basic scientific principles and perform basic lab techniques (compound dosing, rodent restraint, dilution calculations, etc.)
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in biology or related field
- Experience with peptides and/or oligo-based modalities in vitro and/or in vivo (beneficial)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work and contribute in a team
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Good time management and multitasking
- Fast learner; able to generate and analyze data with little supervision
- Proficient with Microsoft Office for data analysis
