Associate Scientist, Biology-Discovery

Role: Associate Scientist supporting swine vaccine development, focusing on bacterial/viral strain evaluation, assay development, and animal trials. Responsibilities: perform laboratory procedures including titrations, cell culture, microbiology techniques, vaccine formulation, and assay validation; support animal studies involving swine and laboratory animals; troubleshoot and optimize protocols; assist in developing new laboratory assays and methods; organize and report findings; support safety, compliance, and departmental tasks. Requirements: B.S. in Biology, Virology, Microbiology, Immunology, or related field; experience with lab techniques, project planning, and data analysis; strong organizational and communication skills; proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Preferred: experience with viral/bacterial titrations, large animal research, USDA licensure requirements, and Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN).
