Role: Associate Scientist in Biologics Characterization within Analytical Development at Takeda, focusing on analyzing biologics using mass spectrometry, biophysical techniques, and HPLC/UPLC. Responsibilities: independently planning, executing, analyzing, and reporting characterization experiments to support product understanding, process development, comparability, stability, manufacturing readiness, and regulatory filings; troubleshooting technical issues; generating high-quality data; and communicating results to cross-functional teams. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years or Master's degree with 1+ years of industry experience in protein chemistry, biophysics, or analytical chemistry; hands-on experience with biologics characterization methods such as LC-MS, peptide mapping, glycan analysis, and chromatography; strong data analysis and technical documentation skills; understanding of biologics structure, heterogeneity, and critical quality attributes. Preferred: experience with regulatory submissions and working knowledge of GxP principles.
