Associate Scientist, Biofunctional Assays

What You Will Achieve:
- Conduct bifunctional immunological assays for vaccine clinical development per GCLP.
- Perform lab work in BSL-2 and BSL-3 environments.
- Maintain detailed inventory of freezer reagents (controls, proficiency panels, reference standards).
- Present assay development and sample analysis progress to colleagues and senior management.
- Collect/analyze data to support troubleshooting, qualification, and other lab projects.
- Review clinical and nonclinical data.
- Build team skills; collaborate within the work group.
- Stay current on departmental/corporate training; organize work to meet deadlines.
- Follow procedures and seek guidance as needed; perform other assigned tasks.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements):
- Bachelor’s degree with 0–2 years lab experience (relevant science).
- Willingness to work in BSL-2/BSL-3; strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivation/organization; team collaboration.
- Initiative to advance independent projects.
- Good verbal/written communication.
- Foundation in scientific practice and relevant discipline.
- Experience developing/troubleshooting antibody functionality bioassays.
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, relevant scientific software).

Bonus Points (Preferred Requirements):
- Knowledge of mammalian cells and aseptic techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects; strong problem-solving.
- Excellent communication; work independently and in a team.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience with common AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot).

Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Adhere to BSL-3 safety requirements (fitted respirator and Tyvek suit for a few hours).

Compensation/Other Details:
- Base salary: $60,200–$100,400; bonus target 7.5% of base; relocation support may be available; on-premise.
