As an Associate Scientist in the auditory group, your typical day might include:
- Processing tissue samples for molecular and histological assessments
- Conducting follow-up analysis of tissues from in vivo studies using qPCR, western blotting, immunohistochemistry and ELISA
- Handling and caring for mice, including procedures such as blood/tissue sample collection or injections
- Documenting experimental procedures and results
- Data processing and statistical analysis using FIJI, Excel, and Prism
- Collaborating within and across research teams

- B.S. or M.S. in Cell Biology, Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline
- Experience with protein readouts (ELISA, Western) (highly desirable)
