Role: Associate Scientist in Analytical Development within Bristol Myers Squibb's CMC-focused Chemical Process Development team, supporting small molecules and advanced modalities (ADCs, peptides, oligonucleotides) drug candidates throughout development. Responsibilities: develop in-process and release analytical methods (HPLC, UHPLC, SEC, GC, titration, etc.), analyze and optimize methods for robustness, collaborate with chemistry and engineering teams to solve analytical challenges, and contribute to process understanding. Qualifications: BS/MS in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences; 1-5 years of industry experience (or 0-2 with MS); proficiency in chromatography and analytical techniques; familiarity with laboratory automation and digital tools; strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills. Preferred: experience with complex drug modalities, GxP compliance, and analytical method validation. High-Value: supporting drug substance process development, with focus on small molecules and biotherapeutic candidates, across project teams; role involves cross-functional collaboration, analytical troubleshooting, and method development to enable scale-up and optimization.
