Associate Scientist — Analytical & Biological Mass Spectrometry (ABMS)

Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (LC-MS) methods for enrichment, detection, quantification, and structural characterization of siRNAs, oligonucleotides, novel siRNA conjugates, and monoclonal antibodies (mAbs)
- Perform analytical testing and sample preparation for siRNAs/oligonucleotides, including chromatographic fractionation, LC, LC-MS, solid phase extraction (SPE), hybridization-capture, and related MS methods
- Independently conduct sample preparation and LC-MS analyses in compliance with SOPs/drafted protocols and document procedures/results in an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN)

Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
- 0–3 years of relevant hands-on laboratory experience in analytical chemistry or bioanalytical sciences
- Strong hands-on liquid chromatography experience (reversed-phase, size-exclusion, ion exchange); HPLC or UPLC essential

Preferred/Plus:
- Hands-on experience with biological matrices
- Hands-on experience with fractionation, solid phase extraction, and/or hybridization techniques
- Mass spectrometry experience beneficial (ability to optimize separation methods is key)

Salary Range (annually):
- $93,900.00 - $153,300.00
