Shift Available:
- Monday–Friday, Hybrid Day Shift, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Potential extended hours during off shift/weekend based on business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead root-cause investigations for S12 CAR T operations (e.g., environmental monitoring, deviations); interview personnel, test hypotheses, and interpret results.
- Author investigation reports; identify and drive CAPAs; close reports timely.
- Perform GEMBA walks to evaluate process steps and RCA.
- Propose/plan CAPAs and ensure CAPA effectiveness; assess change-related impact/risk and mitigation strategy; may initiate change control.
- Provide technical support for manufacturing investigations, CAPAs, and change controls; support deviation investigation defense during audits.
- Handle complex problems with minimal guidance; serve as author/technical reviewer of procedures as appropriate.
- Apply lean/Six Sigma to continuously improve; support S12 and “Right First Time.”
Qualifications (Required/Minimum):
- Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering (preferably biochemistry/life sciences/related); advanced degree preferred; equivalent education/experience acceptable.
- 1 year cell therapy manufacturing operations or cell therapy QC.
- 1 year root cause analysis and CAPA determination.
Skills/Knowledge (Preferred/Required):
- Deviation/RCA experience; CAPA effectiveness identification/verification.
- Technical writing; cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to follow/apply global regulatory and cGMP requirements; support health authority inspections.
- Data trending/tracking (stats software a plus); advanced problem-solving; priority/timeline management.
- Experience with eQRMs/Infinity; hands-on CAR-T or biopharmaceutical manufacturing/QC preferred.
Working Conditions:
- 50%–90% office; 10%–20% manufacturing/lab; occasional NJ travel; flexibility for extended hours/weekends/holidays.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- $71,910–$87,138 (Summit West - NJ - US). Health, wellbeing, and financial protection benefits; paid time off.
