About the Role:
Emerging internal thought leader and discipline expert, driving strategic imperatives to generate Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and epidemiology real-world evidence (RWE). Leads design, review, execution, and oversight of product/disease-specific projects to establish prevalence, disease burden, epidemiology, and health outcomes.
Your Contributions:
- Design, develop, and implement multiple HEOR/epidemiology-focused projects with minimal supervision
- Contribute to department vision/goals and scientific/business operating plans for HEOR and epidemiology research
- Design and execute complex epidemiological and real-world data studies; communicate HEOR insights to healthcare strategy
- Drive highly complex technical research aligned to strategic project goals within cost-efficient budgets
- Support product launches by guiding evidence generation pre- and post-launch
- Oversee/analyze data using large-data methods (criteria/tool development, literature searches, data abstraction)
- Develop reports, manuscripts, and presentations for internal/external stakeholders
- Serve as subject matter expert with patient advocacy partners and academic leaders
- Advise commercialization, safety, clinical development, and clinical leads on prevalence/incidence
- Partner with business units to address evidence needs of external consumers
- Advise/mentor internal teams and oversee/mentor external consultants; manage vendors and proposals/regulatory documents
Requirements:
- Masterβs (Public Health/life sciences/MPH or equivalent) + 12+ yearsβ relevant experience OR PhD + 5+ yearsβ relevant experience
- Excellent presentation and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Expert data analytics; expert epidemiology; statistical modeling (R, SAS, STATA or similar); Excel
- Publication/medical writing experience with peer-reviewed contributions
- Leadership, project management, learning agility, and ability to work cross-functionally
