Associate Scientific Director, DNA-Encoded Libraries

Role: Associate Scientific Director specialized in DNA-Encoded Library (DEL) selection, leading small-molecule drug discovery campaigns through DEL screening strategies and hit identification. Responsibilities: design and execute DEL affinity-capture campaigns targeting diverse proteins; analyze sequencing and enrichment data; lead hit validation, including off-DNA resynthesis and orthogonal assays; develop workflows, collaborate cross-functionally with chemistry, biology, biophysics, and computational teams to progress hits; interpret DEL data for project decisions; mentor scientists and manage external collaborations. Qualifications: PhD in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related with 6+ years relevant experience, or equivalent experience with MS/BS levels; proven DEL selection design and data analysis expertise; experience leading cross-disciplinary teams and integrating DEL results into drug discovery programs. Preferred: experience with affinity, functional, or cellular DEL approaches; knowledge of DNA-compatible chemistry, sequencing workflows, structural biology, and hit-to-lead processes; track record of advancing DEL hits into development; publications or patents.
