Responsibilities:
- Operate an automated cell culture work cell to generate iPSC-derived cell types for disease model development and drug discovery.
- Collaborate with scientists to execute automated workflows for target identification and therapeutic profiling.
- Perform lab automation operations including protocol design, run set up/break-down, error recovery, and point-teaching.
- Assist scientists with operation of the automation platform, including training and error-recovery support.
- Manage equipment scheduling, routine/preventative maintenance, and lab consumables inventory.
- Perform and record quality control tests of platform instruments (e.g., liquid handlers, plate readers).
- Assist in maintaining database and data pipeline.

Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Biomedical engineering with 1โ€“2 years of relevant lab automation experience.
- Experience with cell culture and routine molecular biology techniques.
- Hands-on experience applying lab automation to support screening or stem cellโ€“related workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating liquid handlers (Hamilton and/or Beckman Coulter), integrated workcells (HighRes preferred), high-throughput imagers, and other lab automation devices (plate washer/reader/sealer/peeler).
- Experience with iPSC maintenance and differentiation to neuronal and glial lineages.
- Routine biological assays (e.g., immunofluorescence, qPCR).
- VENUS or Biomek programming proficiency.
- Cellario or Momentum proficiency; Benchling familiarity.
- Python or other object-oriented programming language.

Work Location/Hours:
- 100% onsite in Cambridge Crossing; Monโ€“Fri, 9amโ€“5pm.
