Job Summary
Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a QC Associate to join our QC Microbiology team at the Cell Therapy Facility (CTF) in Devens, MA. Responsible for Quality Control microbiological in-process, release, and stability testing of clinical and commercial cell therapy drug product. Also supports clean utilities systems testing, environmental monitoring, and may assist with investigations and continuous improvement efforts. Reports to the Manager, QC Microbiology.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological testing and data review of in-process, batch release, and stability samples in accordance with applicable procedures and cGMP.
- Perform environmental and clean utilities monitoring within the manufacturing environment.
- Ensure timely completion of testing and assigned tasks.
- May train on additional test methods and support broader testing responsibilities.
- Support investigations through data gathering or interview process.
- Apply scientific principles and proper use of lab equipment.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding task completion, roadblocks, and needs.
- May participate in projects and continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Shift coverage includes weekdays, weekends, holidays, and adverse weather. AM Shift: Sunday to Wednesday 6AM–4PM.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably life sciences).
- 0–2+ years microbiological testing or QC experience (or equivalent); preferably in a regulated environment.
- Demonstrated experience with basic laboratory techniques and safety.
- Preferred: endotoxin, sterility, environmental monitoring, process gas & water testing, aseptic technique.
- Preferred: knowledge of GMP laboratory regulatory standards.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Required: knowledge of basic electronic systems (email, MS Office, etc.).
- Preferred: experience with LIMS and ELN.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work.
- Ability to communicate with peers and department management.

Compensation
Devens, MA, US: $35.03–$42.45 per hour.
