The Position
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously (low complexity projects; support for more complex projects under another PM)
- Ensure projects are staffed and executed per plans within budget, schedule, and scope

Essential Functions
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to complete projects on-time/on-budget and meet quality, cost, schedule, and scope requirements
- Develop and execute project plans aligned to scope, schedule, quality, impact, and cost objectives
- Negotiate staffing with LOB; assist with training for project personnel
- Build staffing plans (internal and external contingent/consultant); manage tasks/time for external staff to ensure budget alignment
- Provide project cash flow projections (AB, RE, LE)
- Refine business case with sponsors; establish and communicate quantifiable project benefits
- Manage and coordinate internal and contract resources
- Refine/clarify scope via early analysis with SMEs and owners
- Develop goals to secure effective use of time/resources and motivate employees
- Develop bid packages, evaluate bids, drive vendor selection; work with procurement on project-specific contracts
- Manage financials (purchase order creation, invoicing, and cost forecasting)
- Monitor/control work with follow-up on quality, schedule, and budget
- Monitor/report progress and communicate with management/stakeholders; present in steering groups; ensure quality of status/gate presentations
- Review/approve/endorse project procurement (e.g., purchase orders, bid events)
- Support improving Project Portfolio Management systems (PMO tools)
- Ensure alignment with global programs and site projects; share best practices
- Ensure program lifecycle facets align with STG/project owner expectations
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements; practice Novo Nordisk Way behaviors

Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorโ€™s in Engineering or other Technical Science (accredited) OR
- Required (alternative): Associateโ€™s in Engineering Technology or other Technical Science (accredited) + 2+ years proven project management experience OR
- Required (alternative): High School Diploma/GED + 4+ years proven project management experience
- Preferred: Advanced Project Management training/experience
- Preferred skills: technical writing/oral communication; presentation/facilitation; negotiation/conflict resolution; ability in technical & non-technical areas; creativity to resolve execution problems
- Plus: Lean principles (manufacturing); product documentation/SOP knowledge; ability to create/manage work plans and detailed schedules
- Preferred: analytical/reasoning, organizational, multi-tasking; cross-cultural stakeholder communication; strong internal/external relationships; Microsoft Office proficiency; independent judgment/leadership; team environment
