About The Role
- Lead high-complexity drug development programs with the Program Lead to create cross-functional program strategy and long-range plans from pre-clinical through regulatory approval and commercialization.
- Drive alignment and execution of program plans, managing stakeholders, schedules, risks/issues, budget, resources, and governance.
- Oversee program reporting, escalate risks/issues, and communicate successes.
- Partner with research, CMC, pre-clinical, clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams to align on strategy, goals, timelines, and resources.

Your Contributions
- Partner with Program Lead to develop and execute program strategy.
- Build and maintain integrated program schedules; identify critical path and resource constraints.
- Lead risk assessment/response and scenario planning.
- Identify program inter-dependencies and advise on risks/opportunities to accelerate development.
- Challenge assumptions; improve processes/outcomes; drive clarity in ambiguity.
- Oversee cross-functional meetings, decision-making, and alignment with leadership.
- Serve as a Program Management expert; contribute to tools/process improvements.
- May manage/mentor Program Management staff.

Requirements
- BS/BA + 10+ years OR Master’s + 8+ years OR PhD + 5+ years in multi-disciplinary pharmaceutical/biotech program management (IND/CTA, BLA/NDA/MAA; early and late phase; global development).
- PMP certification highly desired.
- Strong communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and influencing.
- Ability to build/coach/lead cross-functional teams.
- Advanced drug development knowledge across research, CMC, non-clinical, clinical, regulatory, and commercial.
- Experience leading early/late phase global programs; Ph2/3, LAI, neurology, and/or gene therapy preferred.
- Ability to manage objectives/timelines/budgets and provide stakeholder updates.
- Ability to manage conflict, drive consensus, and promote decision-making.
- Advanced project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet); PMP/Planisware desired.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Annual base salary: $173,900–$238,000; annual bonus target 30%; equity long-term incentive eligibility.
