In this role, you will develop and implement experimental and computational tools and collaborate cross-functionally to drive therapeutic pipeline discovery and development at West Point, PA.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to therapeutic development via high-dimensional functional genomics/cellular profiling assays, including pooled/arrayed CRISPR screens, single-cell transcriptomics & lineage tracing, and proteomic datasets.
- Perform statistically rigorous quantitative analyses with reproducible research/data integrity on large-scale datasets.
- Analyze, interpret, and visualize complex biological data for broader audiences.
- Integrate internal/external data and knowledge resources to enable biological data mining and actionable learnings.
- Develop/implement experimental and/or computational methods to integrate multi-omics (RNA-Seq, DRUG-seq, WGS, CRISPR, scRNA-Seq, proteomics, metabolomics) to generate biological knowledge.
Qualifications (Required):
- Ph.D. in Systems Biology, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Biostatistics, Genetics, Immunology, Mathematics, Molecular Biology, Statistics, or related + 4 years experience.
- Demonstrated experience with experimental and/or computational strategies interpreting large-scale biological data (e.g., sequencing modalities, pooled/arrayed CRISPR screens).
- Fluency generating/analyzing NGS datasets (e.g., RNAseq, WES, scRNAseq, spatial transcriptomics).
- Experience with statistical hypothesis testing and machine learning.
- Experience integrating multi-omics sources and biological knowledge bases.
Technical/Skills:
- R (incl. Shiny/tidyverse), Python, MATLAB for statistical analysis and interpretable visualizations.
