Role: Associate Principal Scientist leading formulation development of new chemical entities, from initial first-in-human (FIH) formulations to final market formulations, supporting scale-up and process robustness. Responsibilities: design and execute innovative formulation strategies, evaluate new technologies, collaborate across functions (process chemistry, analytical, physical characterization), oversee external manufacturing, facilitate clinical supply manufacturing and scale-up, and contribute to patents, publications, and technical reports. Requirements: Ph.D. in Chemical/Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline with 4+ years (Ph.D.) or 10+ years (B.S./M.S.) industry experience; proven expertise in formulation science, process development, and manufacturing technologies; hands-on experience with pilot plants; strong experimental, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred: leadership in enterprise-level projects, subject matter expertise in drug delivery or manufacturing technology, mentoring ability, experience addressing manufacturing challenges, and broad functional knowledge including analytical sciences and commercialization.
