Role Summary

The Materials and Biophysical Characterization group is responsible for physical and biophysical characterization across our development pipeline, including small molecules, biologics, and vaccines. We seek a highly self-motivated scientist with experience in biotherapeutics and materials characterization. As an Associate Principal Scientist, you will lead the physical characterization of biotherapeutics focusing on protein higher-order structure and particles, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the pipeline from discovery through development to launch. You will contribute to interdepartmental initiatives, build internal and external networks, and foster a culture of scientific excellence and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead physical characterization of biotherapeutics, focusing on protein higher-order structure and particles.
  • Collaborate with development scientists to deeply understand products and processes.
  • Participate on cross-functional technical teams and contribute to interdepartmental initiatives.
  • Support the pipeline from discovery through development to commercial launch.
  • Build a strong internal and external network across academia and regulatory communities.
  • Contribute to a culture of scientific excellence and a compliance mindset.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders across the company to impact the pipeline and patient lives.
