Role: Associate Principal Scientist specializing in process modeling and analytics within biologics downstream purification. Objectives: develop and validate mechanistic models for chromatography and adjacent unit operations to guide resin selection, gradient design, scale-up, and robustness across biologics modalities. Responsibilities: build calibrated models in CADET or equivalent tools, design experiments for parameter estimation, translate model outputs into manufacturing decisions, and mentor junior scientists. Qualifications: Ph.D. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related field with 3-7+ years of industrial experience; expertise in chromatography modeling, transport phenomena, and process development for biologics such as mAbs or viral vectors. High-Value: biologics, downstream process modeling, chromatography (ion exchange, HIC, affinity), viral clearance, scale-up, mechanistic simulation, decision support, and cross-functional collaboration. Work Setup: hybrid; no explicit travel requirements specified.
