Role: Associate Principal Scientist in Discovery Oncology focused on reverse translation to identify novel therapeutic targets and understand tumor biology, disease progression, and therapy response. Responsibilities: design, execute, analyze, and present laboratory studies utilizing clinical insights, in vitro systems, and in vivo tumor models; collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize pipeline opportunities; contribute scientific expertise in cancer biology, immunology, and molecular techniques; potentially work with large datasets and multi-omics approaches. Requirements: Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or related STEM field with 4+ years postdoctoral or industry experience, or MS with 7+ years, or BS with 11+ years; extensive hands-on expertise in tumor biology, cell assays, flow cytometry, molecular biology, and target validation techniques; proven scientific impact demonstrated through publications or patents; strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: experience with reverse translation projects, multi-omics, clinical data integration, and therapeutic modalities such as bispecifics, ADCs, and small molecules. High-Value: focus on oncology, tumor mechanisms, therapeutic response, resistance, and related in vitro/in vivo models. Location: South San Francisco; no travel required.
