Role: Associate Medical Director / Global Safety Physician responsible for implementing and monitoring global safety strategies for Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ investigational and marketed products. Key responsibilities include safety signal detection and assessment, preparation of safety reports, contribution to risk management plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all safety documentation and labeling. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Sciences, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, PV, and external stakeholders, as well as oversight of safety data review and safety profile communication. Requirements: MD or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in drug safety/pharmacovigilance or clinical development, strong knowledge of global PV regulations, Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP), safety databases (e.g., ARISg, ARGUS), and coding dictionaries (MedDRA, WHO Drug). Skills include interpreting safety data, managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication, and proficiency in regulatory databases and MS Office. Preferred qualifications include clinical research or specialty training in internal medicine, neuroscience, hematology/oncology. The position involves international regulatory interactions, safety signal evaluation, and lifecycle safety management for products in neuroscience and oncology, with some travel expected. It reports to the Senior Medical Director and is based in a hybrid or remote setup.
