Role Summary
Associate Medical Director, Dermatology – US Medical Affairs. Based in Horsham, PA. Joined via US Immunology team to contribute to Medical Affairs activities and support Dermatology strategy for marketed and/or pipeline products.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of Medical Affairs sponsored clinical programs, including Phase 3b/4 trials, registries, real-world evidence studies, investigator-initiated and/or collaborative studies. Contribute/lead study design, protocol development, clinical study report and publication development; provide program leadership and medical oversight.
- Provide Dermatology subject matter expertise and represent US medical affairs on internal stakeholder/project teams across multiple functions (sales and marketing, health economics and outcomes research, value and evidence, field MSLs, medical communications and scientific exchange).
- Provide US medical affairs input to R&D clinical development programs, including study designs, presentations, and publications.
- Support medical information requests from field medical and field commercial teams; develop medical education content for field medical teams; collaborate with medical communications and scientific exchange teams on content development, review, and approval for publications, congresses, digital platforms, etc.
- Identify new KOLs and develop strong KOL collaborations; establish relations with medical societies and patient advocacy organizations.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (including PhD or PharmD) required; clinical degrees (MD, DO, NP, PA) with dermatology clinical experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years of combined relevant experience in academic clinical research, clinical practice, and/or pharmaceutical industry
- Dermatology or immunology therapeutic area expertise highly preferred
- Experience with clinical studies, registries, or real-world evidence studies; prior commercial/medical launch experience strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills; experience interacting with healthcare professionals and other thought leaders
- Strong scientific writing skills and analytical thinking
- Strong leadership, teaming and collaboration skills
- Up to 25% travel (primarily domestic; limited international)
- Hybrid schedule: three days in the office and two days remote per week in Horsham, PA
