Role: Associate Medical Director, Clinical Development, supporting the medical oversight of clinical trials for metabolic and endocrine disorder therapeutics. Responsibilities include contributing to clinical protocol and development plan creation, providing medical input on trial data, reviewing regulatory documents (INDs, CSRs, safety reports), monitoring ongoing studies, and facilitating communication among stakeholders including CROs, investigators, and safety committees. The role emphasizes collaboration with senior medical leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure scientific rigor and regulatory compliance. Requirements: MD or equivalent, 2-4 years of clinical or research experience, with a focus on late-phase (Phases 2/3) trials; industry experience preferred. Knowledge of metabolic/endocrine disorders, GCP, regulatory standards, clinical data analysis, and experience with clinical trial software are essential. Preferred skills include leadership development, communication, and a solutions-oriented approach. The position involves working in a dynamic environment with cross-functional teams and external scientific experts, with salary range of $210K-$260K.
