Position: Associate Manufacturing Scientist I (second shift)
Responsibilities:
- Follow batch records, SOPs, and work instructions; document all operations in batch records and logbooks
- Comply with GMP protocols
- Operate large scale oligonucleotide manufacturing equipment (oligonucleotide synthesizer, purification skid, tangential flow filtration, lyophilizer, ChemGlass reactors, pH/conductivity meters, peristaltic pumps, etc.)
- Assist manufacturing chemists during synthesis and purification (reagent solution prep, mobile phase prep, column packing, fraction collection)
- Perform oligonucleotide/intermediate analysis via LCMS
- Communicate with cross-functional groups (Process Development, Analytical Development, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, etc.)
- Maintain a clean work space; maintain safety using required PPE
- Track and update raw material usage in D365 ERP; act as production campaign lead; assist with new personnel training
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related field OR equivalent relevant manufacturing experience
- 0β2 years of lab/manufacturing experience in biotech/pharma/chemical or related industries
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation
- Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred:
- Experience in GMP-regulated environment
- Hands-on chromatography/filtration/purification and/or LC-MS instrumentation
- Familiarity with manufacturing documentation, batch records, or ERP systems
Pay range (Wisconsin): $60,000β$70,000
