Associate Manufacturing - AR30 Downstream Purification - B-Shift Days
What You Will Do
In this role, you will support the production process by operating equipment, maintaining production records, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Under general supervision, perform operations in the manufacturing area.
- Perform operations according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform and monitor critical processes; complete routine validation protocols.
- Draft and revise documents such as Manufacturing Procedures, SOPs, and technical reports.
- Perform basic troubleshooting; assist in review of documentation.
- Participate on cross-functional teams and represent manufacturing.
- Own deviations/CAPA’s.
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvements related to routine functions.
Basic Qualifications
- High school/GED + 2 years manufacturing or operations experience; OR
- Associate’s + 6 months manufacturing or operations experience; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- Knowledge of large-scale biotech purification (e.g., Protein A chromatography, VI/Neut, Tangential Flow Filtration).
- Knowledge of Single-use Systems; CFR/Regulatory knowledge.
- Mechanical ability; basic statistical skills; ability to interpret GMP.
- Technical writing; project management and presentation skills.
- Basic troubleshooting on production equipment; Delta V; lab equipment/testing experience.
Schedule
- Onboarding: 2–6 weeks, Mon–Fri ~8am–5pm.
- After onboarding: 12-hour shift, 7am–7pm, rotating 2-week pattern (7 days over 2 weeks), ~14 days on shift/month; every other weekend off.
