Position Summary
Associates support routine Cell Therapy manufacturing operations for novel cell therapy programs, with a general understanding of GMPs. Must demonstrate safety, quality, and GMP compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Learn and execute Cell Therapy Manufacturing operations compliantly (per SOPs, work instructions, batch records/forms)
- Execute transactions/processes in electronic systems; follow business continuity processes
- Prioritize safety; report safety events within 24 hours; escalate issues impacting compliance/safety
- Complete source-governing documentation contemporaneously (ALCOA+)
- Perform tasks per safety policies, quality systems, and GMP/cGMP requirements
- Complete required training before assigned due dates; verify training completion before GxP tasks
- Train for process systems and supporting business systems
- Execute daily unit operations schedule (people/product/material flow across shifts)
- Work in ISO 5 cleanroom/control cleanroom; perform aseptic processing (as assigned)
- Maintain environmental conditions via required area disinfection to meet Health Authority requirements
- Refine manufacturing techniques to improve operational times
Reporting Relationship: Manager/Supervisor
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; minimum high school diploma/equivalent required
- 0–1 years relevant cGMP cell therapy manufacturing/bioprocessing experience preferred
- Team collaboration experience; strong computer skills (word/spreadsheets/web)
- Attention to detail, personal accountability, excellent interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of cGMP regulations/FDA guidance preferred
Working Conditions
- Cleanroom aseptic processing; gowning/PPE; lift up to 30 lb; push/pull up to 50 lb; assigned shifts; BSL2/ML1; magnets; vapor phase liquid nitrogen.
