Major Responsibilities
- Execute standard and ad-hoc analyses on assigned brands to inform U.S. Market Access strategy using data analytics, customer insights, and business knowledge.
- Assist in developing pricing and contracting strategies with U.S. Market Access commercial leaders to achieve optimal payer formulary access and maximize net sales.
- Use claims analysis and market dynamics to identify payer opportunities/threats; build models to portray risks, opportunities, and sensitivities.
- Demonstrate foundational understanding of the U.S. healthcare landscape and key AbbVie therapeutic areas to proactively address opportunities and threats.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal U.S. Market Access Sales and Marketing stakeholders.
- Align analytical insights with brand insight partners (integrated with HCP and consumer insights) to support brand decision-making.

- Deliver analytics to inform GPO, Specialty Pharmacy, Health Plan, and PBM contracting strategies for launch brands across payer channels; convey analytical narratives and inform financial projections.
- Deliver brand-specific market access insights in response to market access issues/trends; analyze impact of utilization management, tiering, medical policy, line of therapy, and co-pay support.
- Perform investigative analytics to validate/quantify competitive/customer tactics; identify value drivers that guide clinical data development and value positioning.
- Use syndicated and proprietary data, data science, and modeling techniques to synthesize insights into compelling narratives; support stakeholder management and external analytics as needed.
- Communicate market access analytical insights effectively to leadership.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of professional experience
- 2+ years of related industry experience with SQL, Python, R, SAS, Power BI, and/or data warehousing
- Hands-on data querying, extraction, manipulation, and analysis experience
- Solid knowledge of analytics and advanced analytics techniques
- Strong storytelling skills

Preferred:
- Marketing/sales analytics experience
- Healthcare industry experience
