About the role:
- Implement and supervise daily manufacturing activities to deliver production commitments on time while maintaining alignment with cGMP, EHS, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Oversee aseptic filling, initial inspection, pasteurization, and unloading; drive progress against site priorities.
- Role-model Takeda values and PTRB decision-making (Patient, Trust, Reputation, Business).

How you will contribute:
- Deliver daily manufacturing performance to meet production targets, deadlines, and commitment dates.
- Plan and allocate resources across Filling, Inspection, Pasteurization, and Unloading; manage Inspection area production activities.
- Lead escalations and issue resolution with support groups to minimize delays and protect schedule.
- Maintain compliance and inspection readiness aligned with cGMP, EHS, FDA, and site requirements.
- Champion continuous improvement using DMAIC and Lean/Six Sigma to improve safety, quality, yield, and throughput.
- Build team capability through coaching/mentoring, equitable people leadership, and Quality Conversations.
- Ensure on-time shift training (cGMP, safety, job skills).
- Ensure projects/action items/deliverables are completed by commitment dates.
- Own shift communication: be present at handovers and ensure transition.
- Chair Tier 1 meetings; serve as backup for Tier 2 as needed.
- Participate in QA and EHS incident investigations; ensure teams meet investigation timelines.
- Represent the department in meetings/audits/projects; lead/coordinated facilities GEMBA with partners.
- Support staffing (hire manufacturing employees; interview for supporting functions).
- Provide leadership coverage by partnering with managers/associate directors; may serve as delegate for Final Inspection and Packaging.
- Lead operational projects (shutdown/startup; new facilities/process implementation).

What you bring to Takeda:
Education & experience (required/preferred):
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in science, engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant experience; some leadership experience preferred.

Capabilities/qualifications:
- Ability to manage multiple activities through others; supervision across cost, methods, and people.
- Familiarity with Filling, Initial Inspection, and Pasteurization.
- Ability to interpret/analyze statistical data and information (including financial reports).
- Ability to resolve technical problems and partner with engineering/technical experts.
- Strong multi-tasking and priority management in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform investigations and communicate via well-written documentation.
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, GMP, and FDA-regulated manufacturing expectations.
- Demonstrated interpersonal/leadership skills; team-oriented facilitation.
- Flexibility to supervise various groups and/or shifts.
- Strong organizational/administrative skills; manager of self and production staff.

Physical demands & working environment:
- Lift/push/pull/carry up to 35 lbs; prolonged walking to observe operations.
- Work in controlled environments with gowning and PPE; follow manufacturing-area restrictions (e.g., no make-up/jewelry/contact lenses/nail polish/artificial fingernails).
- Work in cold and/or wet environments; may require confined-area work; exposure to clean room and storage conditions.
- Support 24/7 operation (2-2-3 shift model); work multiple shifts/weekends/holidays as needed; up to ~5% travel.

Other job requirements (shift):
- Day Shift (A/B โ€“ 5:00 a.m.โ€“5:30 p.m.) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule; may include holidays and occasional flexibility.

Compensation/benefits (as stated):
- U.S. Base Salary Range: $99,500.00โ€“$156,420.00.
- May be eligible for short-term/long-term incentives.
