Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing operational and financial data to support metrics reporting and performance tracking.
- Support development and maintenance of dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools for key Business Operations performance indicators.
- Contribute to process documentation, including drafting standard operating procedures, process maps, and training materials.
- Coordinate meeting logistics: prepare agendas, capture minutes, and track action items for internal and cross-functional meetings.
- Assist with vendor management activities, including data collection, invoice tracking, and basic performance monitoring.
- Support resource planning by compiling headcount and capacity data.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects with analysis and project coordination support.
- Assist in managing select internal systems and tracking tools to ensure timely and accurate updates.
- Engage cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs for reporting and operational projects.
- Identify data gaps or process inefficiencies and bring observations to manager for review.
Required Qualifications:
- MBA required, or MBA expected within 12 months of hire.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
- Minimum 4 years of industry experience required (pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, consulting, or related).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in clinical operations, business analytics, or project coordination.
Skills/Requirements:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfort working with data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (data visualization tools a plus).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Collaborative across functions; proactive mindset; can work under guidance to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated interest in pharmaceutical/biotech/clinical operations.
- Intellectual curiosity and continuous improvement orientation.
