Role Summary

Associate Manager, Business Analytics - 340B COE- Mettawa, IL. The 340B COE Business Operations Analyst supports the 340B Center of Excellence by maintaining the 340B program, developing reporting and modeling, and enabling data-driven decisions to address 340B policy, eligibility, and performance across AbbVie’s operations.

Responsibilities

  • Core responsibilities are to oversee 340B impact analyses and modeling, covered entity eligibility, and 340B policy maintenance.
  • Develop 340B modeling for COE initiatives, including stakeholder analyses to assess mitigation impacts, government legislation, and 340B program abuses; support modeling needs for cross-functional partners (Government Affairs, Legal, Finance).
  • Develop 340B impact modeling for market-level trends to support the COE Strategy & Innovation Group.
  • Develop and operationalize a 340B site eligibility vetting process and platform; ensure integration with related systems; manage communications; lead the vetting process and supply data to the Government Pricing Class of Trade Group for account eligibility roster.
  • Monitor and track pricing compliance and coordinate with Trade Team to ensure wholesaler compliance with Covered Entity eligibility.
  • Refine site eligibility vetting to incorporate broader factors (pharmacy type, entity ownership, state laws, distribution laws, AbbVie policies).
  • Maintain AbbVie 340B policies and processes.
  • Develop and foster relationships with key stakeholders across Market Access/Trade, Finance, Patient Services, MABI, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s degree in business or analytical field (Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Math, etc.) preferred
  • 5–7 years analytical experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Must be local to Mettawa, IL
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required
  • 5 years in healthcare with strong financial, reporting, forecasting, and modeling experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare
  • Experience with IQVIA data sources (e.g., HCOS), Rx claims data, PBM rebate data
  • Knowledge of 340B flows; working knowledge of regulatory environment for pharmaceutical manufacturers
