Position Summary
Associate IAM & Information Security Engineer supporting the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems (primary focus: Okta and Keycloak) to ensure security, reliability, and compliance (SOX, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR).

Job Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain IAM systems (primarily Okta).
- Develop IAM workflows: provisioning, de-provisioning, and Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML).
- Support application integrations; configure SSO, MFA, and access management.
- Manage IAM incidents/tasks in ServiceNow; ensure SLA compliance.
- Monitor IAM health; troubleshoot issues; partner with Information Security to resolve incidents/alerts.
- Support access certifications, compliance checks, and audit preparation.
- Streamline IAM workflows via process improvements.
- Write basic automation scripts (PowerShell/JavaScript/Python, etc.).
- Document IAM procedures/policies/updates.
- Assist with risk assessments and Zero Trust security controls.
- Participate in incident response; mitigate IAM-related security incidents.
- Coordinate access provisioning with HR/IT, including PAM.
- Engage in training/mentorship and pursue relevant certifications.

Required Qualifications
- 1+ years hands-on IAM; 1+ year using Okta.
- IAM protocols: SCIM, SAML, OpenID, OAuth; Okta SSO/MFA/lifecycle.
- Operational IAM experience; ticketing in ServiceNow or similar.
- Analytical/problem-solving and IAM troubleshooting.
- Effective communication with cross-functional/non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in CS/IS/Cybersecurity (or related).
- ITIL training/certification.
- Scripting and IAM automation experience.
- Okta Certified Professional/Administrator.
- Cloud IAM (AWS IAM/Azure AD) and security frameworks (NIST/ISO 27001).
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare/finance).

Training/Other
- Job-specific, safety, and compliance training assigned based on role.
- Ability to sit/stand and work at a computer for extended periods; on-call rotation and/or extended hours during critical incidents may be required.
