Position Overview
- Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) associate collaborates with operations, engineering, maintenance, quality, and HSE teams to develop, implement, and continuously improve technical and cultural health and safety programs (primarily health and safety; may include some environmental overlap).

Key Objectives/Deliverables
- Engage site resources to build an interdependent safety culture.
- Partner with site HSE and cross-functional teams to develop, establish, and sustain HSE systems, processes, and programs for compliance and ongoing technical support.
- Support HSE event investigations, CAPA, and change control; apply the hierarchy of controls to reduce risk toward an injury-free workplace.
- Provide floor support to multiple operations (auditing, data collection, trending, supporting local safety teams).
- Evaluate site equipment and processes against industry/internal standards; identify and prioritize improvements.
- Navigate complex systems and internal processes efficiently.
- Coach and train HSE staff, leadership, and technical resources on HSE technical aspects and culture development.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in a scientific, engineering, or HSE-related discipline.
- 3+ years of full-time health and safety experience in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills/Preferences
- Experience in GMP manufacturing environments.
- Practical safe work practices (safe work permits, lockout/tagout, working at heights).
- Ergonomics experience improving concerns and injuries.
- Incident investigation and root cause analysis experience.
- Experience with Veeva and Intellex platforms.

Compensation/Benefits (as provided)
- Anticipated wage: $65,250 - $169,400.
- Eligible for company bonus (based on company/individual performance).
