SUMMARY/JOB PURPOSE
- The Associate GPO & Strategic Partner Marketing Director executes strategically aligned GPO, Strategic Partner, and EASE (Exelixis Access Services) tactics in coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners/customers, including contract management and budget planning.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead tactical execution of GPO, Strategic Partner, and EASE marketing programs with Brand Marketing and Market Access.
- Monitor marketing trends/competitive landscape and apply insights to key programs.
- Contribute to the development of the GPO and EASE strategic plan.
- Monitor program usage, performance, and customer satisfaction; optimize tactics to drive outcomes.
- Manage agencies and external stakeholder relationships for GPO/EASE programs.
- Support GPO Conference planning (assets and tactics) with Key Customer Strategy and Brand Marketing.
- Perform contract and budget management reconciliation for GPO/Strategic Partner tactics.
- Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Finance to follow required policies/procedures.
- Manage creation of EASE and GPO content and oversee review/approval by RAMP (Regulatory, Medical, Legal).
- Liaise with Market Access, Promotions, KCT, and Sales Training to implement partnership strategies via personal and non-personal approaches.
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences.
Education/Experience/Knowledge & Skills
- Masterβs degree + 9 years, or BS/BA + 11 years, or equivalent.
- Sales, Market Access, and Marketing experience preferred; oncology experience preferred.
- Strong pharma marketing background; understanding of GPOs, IDNs, and the VA.
- Strategic thinking; cross-functional collaboration; prioritization; networking.
- Data-driven optimization; track record meeting quantitative/qualitative targets.
- Strong project and budget management; problem-solving; communication.
- Commercial experience with Access/Managed Care Marketing a plus.
- Knowledge of FDA promo regulations; experience designing/implementing adult learning programs.
- Business travel required.
