Role: External Medical Affairs representative serving as a scientific expert and educator on ImmunityBio’s immunotherapies, including the FDA-approved ANKTIVA. Primary objectives include establishing relationships with KOLs and HCPs, communicating clinical data, and supporting research collaborations. Responsibilities encompass scientific education, responding to medical inquiries, pharmacovigilance, and contributing to medical strategy within assigned territories. Qualifications: MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, NP, or PA with 2+ years clinical, research, or medical affairs experience in biopharma, preferably within oncology and immunotherapy. Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research, and FDA regulations is preferred. Skills required include strong scientific communication, stakeholder engagement, and proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and CRM systems. High-Value: Focus on oncology, immunotherapy, with an emphasis on cancer vaccines, cell therapies, and immune activation, in a clinical development or post-market setting. The role involves significant travel (~50%) and is field-based, supporting clinical trials, and engaging with KOLs and healthcare providers across the US and potentially internationally. The position offers a competitive salary range ($170K–$195K depending on location and experience). It reports to Medical Affairs and involves cross-functional collaboration within a biotech developing next-generation immune therapies for cancer and infectious diseases.
