Role Summary

Associate Director, Workday Business Partner โ€šร„รฎ Responsible for guiding the People Services team with a customer-centric approach to Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Benefits, and Reporting, evaluating Workday-delivered processes, and identifying complementary solutions to optimize user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide strategic direction for Workday Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Absence, Benefits, Adaptive Planning, Security and Reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal (People Services) and external (HRIT, Centers of Excellence, etc.) stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, driving the planning, development, testing, and implementation of the Workday HCM system.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, leading enhancement design and scoping initiatives.
  • Partner with HRIT to develop and articulate comprehensive solution options that incorporate user and customer experience, scalability, and best practices.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to develop business and functional requirements for HRIT, including test strategy, test scenarios/scripts, and end-to-end testing execution in preparation for user/customer acceptance testing.
  • Evaluate existing and new processes against the functional capabilities of current tools, making strategic recommendations and documenting business/functional requirements for HRIT to maximize tool capabilities in a customer-centric manner.
  • Lead Customer Focus Groups to test all new processes with a representative sample from each customer persona to ensure customer acceptance testing drives new processes/services.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities and fostering a motivated and knowledgeable workforce.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Effective leadership skills to enhance teamwork and promote collaboration.
  • 7-10+ years of proven experience in Workday HCM implementations, development, testing, configuration, and deployment.
  • Experience working in a global, virtual environment.
  • Ability to influence, communicate, and build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Expertise in evaluating existing process flows within Workday, mapping against available functionality, and developing new process flows or implementing new functional capabilities to enhance service delivery and customer-centricity.
  • Proficient in creating custom Workday reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to author and present materials ranging from detailed technical specifications to high-level presentations.
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to act as an interpreter between Subject Matter Experts and HRIT to identify functional capabilities and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage/prioritize multiple activities.
