Associate Director, Warehousing & Distribution

Role: Senior leader overseeing warehousing and distribution operations at the Rockville Manufacturing Center (RMC) for cell therapy manufacturing, ensuring reliable material flow, product quality, and compliance. Responsibilities include developing and executing warehousing strategy, building and leading a team through ramp-up, managing end-to-end warehouse activities (receipt, storage, dispatch), maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring regulatory compliance with GDP, cGMP, SHE, and quality standards. The role involves optimizing processes using Lean Six Sigma tools, managing risk, and collaborating with internal and external partners across the supply chain network. Qualifications: Degree or equivalent experience; extensive leadership in regulated warehousing/logistics; strong knowledge of GDP, cGMP, inventory controls, and warehouse systems; experience supporting regulatory inspections and quality investigations; skills in budget, capacity, and stakeholder management. Preferred: Master’s or professional qualification in supply chain or logistics; experience in cell therapy or complex patient-specific supply chains; knowledge of cold-chain logistics, Chain of Identity (COI), Chain of Custody (COC); digital warehouse systems, Lean Six Sigma, TPM.
