Role Summary

Associate Director of U.S. Market Access Strategy for Dupixent in the Immunology therapeutic area, responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure and maintain optimal reimbursement and market access for all Dupixent indications, with a focus on respiratory/GI indications.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing and/or aligning the annual strategic and tactical business plan for US and Global markets
  • Implementing both short-term and long-term payer / HTA strategies and tactics while supporting in concert with developing and delivering tactics to support marketing efforts
  • Working closely with the Sanofi Value and Access team partners to find opportunities, implement existing tactics and achieve access goals
  • Leading payer and key customer market access research initiatives
  • Leading the development and implementation of indication initiatives including the payer value story for Dupixent indications, field training and pull-through programs, clinical and economic customer education materials, and market access programs
  • Developing field-level data tools and analytic capabilities to enhance local business planning and execution effectiveness
  • Managing promotional budgets, and develop metrics to measure value against key initiatives
  • Managing internal processes such as promotional review committee submissions, and advisory board coordination

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive industry relevant professional experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a market access functional role, payer account management, brand marketing, field sales/reimbursement management, or HEOR (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA/MHA or PharmD or other advanced degree preferred
  • Direct experience working for a managed care health plan or PBM is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of the payer and HTA landscape and current trends
  • Experience in respiratory, allergy or GI diseases is helpful
  • Experience with specialty products and launches; knowledge of patient/physician hub services and specialty pharmacy networks a plus
  • JV or alliance role experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, and ability to influence internal and affiliate decision-makers
  • Excellent clinical, financial, and analytical skills
