Role Summary

The Associate Director, Field Medical Immunology Strategy role is a home office-based position supporting a field-based team. The role supports the Field Medical team across the Immunology Cardiovascular (ICV) therapeutic areas and collaborates with US Field Medical ICV leadership to manage project work streams and initiatives aligned with the Field Medical Plan. It enables execution of Field Medical objectives and activities to support the safe and appropriate use of BMS medicines.

Responsibilities

  • Support preparations and execution of Immunology Field Medical Plan
  • FM Immunology clinical trial support and other pipeline assets in coordination with ICV Field Medical teams to drive enrollment and trial site recruitment
  • Support Associate Director, ICV FM Strategy and FM Leadership on projects and initiatives to drive the effectiveness of the US FM team
  • Drive Immunology FM performance through project management support of systems, reporting, and platform activities
  • Update and maintain Immunology FM SharePoint site
  • Additional digital capabilities such as InterAct, Territory and Alignment and Tableau
  • Support communication plans with field medical teams, including updates and ensuring communications align with the Brand plan
  • Collaborate with matrix partners for training, scorecards, communications, and technology initiatives
  • Contribute towards defining Immunology FM strategies and objectives and developing short and long-term plans
  • Support FM leadership via report generation and metric analysis for interactions
  • Provide support for USFM Immunology meetings as needed
  • Lead data analytics across multiple systems to provide metric reports
  • Develop executive presentations and communications
  • Provide support for special projects

Qualifications

  • Required: College degree; advanced degree preferred; 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Required: Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to learn BMS IT systems, applications, and analytics; demonstrated ability to troubleshoot with BMS teams
  • Required: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
  • Required: Ability to prioritize and multi-task; strong attention to detail, accuracy, timeliness, and follow-through
  • Required: Effective communication with matrix team members; ability to raise issues and participate in conflict resolution
  • Required: Basic understanding of business processes, products, and healthcare industry dynamics
  • Preferred: Team player with ability to work in a matrix culture; able to work independently with initiative and sense of urgency

Skills

  • Understanding of field medical roles and supporting functions (IT, Home Office Medical, Medical Engagement Excellence, etc.)
  • Proficiency with FM systems and platforms (Veeva InterAct, MedSights, Tableau, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Applications (Teams, Outlook, OneNote, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Education

  • College degree required; advanced degree preferred

  • Minimal travel required based on business need
