Associate Director, Transparency Reporting and Monitoring
Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Develop strategy, vision, operations & governance for the Transparency Reporting program globally.
- Ensure timely and accurate disclosures across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assess global geographic footprint; develop spend transparency compliance controls.
- Lead/oversee master service provider and spend transparency technology.
- Own policy development, compliance & governance of Global Transparency Reporting policy.
- Own transparency dashboards; use data trends/insights to drive compliance and inform strategy.
- Assess and improve processes, tools and policies to strengthen programs and enhance efficiencies.
- Lead cross-functional alignment with Legal, Data Privacy, Compliance, Commercial, Medical, Global Travel & Expense, and Global Meeting & Events.
- Lead team members; prioritize work, allocate resources, support master service provider, and create metrics/dashboards.
- Support assessments and self-testing (e.g., reviewing sponsorships/payments) to monitor compliance.
- Use data analytics to identify high-risk activities and develop compliance metrics.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management and regulatory agencies.
Knowledge And Skills:
- Proven experience leading Transparency Reporting and/or Monitoring.
- Expert knowledge of transparency reporting laws and codes (US Sunshine Act, EFPIA, and/or European disclosure laws).
- Experience owning transparency technology and master service provider partnership.
- Strong analytics, influencing, and presentation skills; advanced project/operations management.
- Adaptability in dynamic, deadline-driven environments.
- Experience with transparency reporting technology; PowerBI dashboard ownership.
- Experience with Master Data Management system.
Education And Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- Typically 7 years in transparency/risk/control/monitoring/compliance or similar.
- 2 years leading Transparency Reporting/Monitoring (globally) with people management.
- Previous pharmaceutical experience required.
